Platelet Derived Growth Factor - BB

Platelet Derived Growth Factor (PDGF- BB) or Becaplermin is a cicatrizant, i.e., an agent that promotes healing through scar formation, and is available as a topical gel. It has been indicated for the treatment of diabetic foot ulcers. USV's PDGF-BB has been developed using novel cloning, fermentation and purification technology. Indian patent application and PCT application have been filed.

• Pre-clinical toxicity studies have been successfully completed as per schedule Y of Drugs & Cosmetics Act, India.
• Non GMP samples available

Indications:

• Treatment of lower extremity deep diabetic neuropathic ulcers
